Welcome!  Thank you for stopping by to learn more about me.  I have been teaching
at Milton Elementary for eight years.  I absolutely love teaching first graders and I
love being at Milton.

I have been married for sixteen years to Mark and we have three children.  Jacob is
fifteen and starting his 2nd year of high school and the twins, Courtney and Jeremy
are going to the sixth grade. All three of my children have enjoyed their education at
Milton.

In my spare time I love to go camping, remodel our house, work on the Milton
yearbook and  find new and exciting things to do for school.  I am also enjoying
learning how to work on web pages.

My Teaching Philosophy
My intention to become a teacher comes from a love of learning and a love for
children. I want to help my students grow and succeed. I believe that every student
is capable of learning. As a teacher, it is my job to meet the needs of all my students
and make sure they are learning.

I look forward to working with my new 1st grade class. I have many plans for a
fun-filled learning environment that will allow my students not only to succeed, but
also excel. We will be reading lots of new stories, writing our own stories, and
learning many new skills. I am eager to get to know each of my students better, and
work with them to make this school year the greatest!

I love my job and I look forward to having a very rewarding and successful year.
